This position reports in collaboration with an established team to the Capex Regional Manager, overseeing projects in the Kansas and Midwest regionPosition Summary:The Project Manager will serve as a key liaison between business units and cross-functional ADM stakeholders, effectively managing project scope, schedule, and budget. This role requires a proactive approach to securing stakeholder buy-in for project implementations and working collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals to drive successful project outcomes. The Project Manager will be responsible for delivering high-quality work on projects with significant financial impact and significance.Job Responsibilities:Define project scope and plan the delivery of projects according a roles & responsibility matrix.Execute the project, including costing and implementation according the Front End Loading (FEL) guidelines.Assure monthly project reporting to the stakeholders through FEL, execution, commissioning, and capitalization and closure.Manage scope change and risk management escalation processes.Maintain compliance with local legislation and ADM requirements for permitting, safety legislation, quality assurance, HACCP, GMP, HAZOP.Support and drive contractor safety through the use of preventative action plans and safety metrics.Assure that the safety and reliability of existing equipment is maintained during project implementation.Coordinate the team development of all necessary documentation for commissioning, training, maintenance and maintain all records required by legislation and policies.Coordinate and provide direction to contractual partners for project execution
including the use of a well-maintained work breakdown structure (WBS).Establish project structure and coordination with project steering committee according project governance guidelines.Required Qualifications:Bachelors degree in a technical field, preferably in combination with project management engineeringExperience managing a portfolio OR several industrial capital construction projectsExperience with cost engineering and key performance indicatorsExperience with industrial process project planning and scheduling with multi-craft tradesExperience with industrial process project commissioning means and methodsProficiency with use of Microsoft Project, Primavera or other resource loaded scheduling toolsKnowledge of enterprise management systemsProficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applicationsExcellent interpersonal English fluency communication skills, experience using written and verbal communication skills effectivelyPreferred Qualifications:Master's degree in a technical field, preferably in combination with project management engineeringCertified Project Manager or willingness to obtain certificationExperience working with EPC and EPCM (engineering procurement/construction management) firmsExperience with execution on renovation/retrofit and brownfield projectsKnowledge of SharePoint beneficialExcited about this role but don't meet every requirement listed?
