Northern Arizona Healthcare is seeking a committed Senior Telemetry Monitoring Technician to enhance our clinical team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the observation and documentation of patient cardiac rhythms, collaborating closely with healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform telemetry monitoring at regular intervals and accurately document findings
- Identify and report any irregular heart rhythm patterns
- Utilize EKG machinery effectively, ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly
- Engage with nursing personnel regarding patient conditions
- Facilitate training and mentorship for both new hires and current staff
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of High School Diploma or GED
- Certification in Basic Life Support is mandatory
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in telemetry monitoring is essential
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous
