Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The successful candidate will assist in managing our accounts payable processes using NetSuite, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and supporting our accounting department's daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and process incoming invoices in NetSuite. Ensure that all invoices are matched with purchase orders and receipts.
  • Payment Processing: Prepare and process payments to vendors, including checks, ACH transfers, and electronic payments. Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues with vendors in a timely manner.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts payable transactions. Ensure all documentation complies with company policies and audit requirements.
  • Vendor Communication: Liaise with vendors to address and resolve any payment or invoice-related inquiries. Provide support in managing vendor accounts.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in an accounts payable role, preferably within the construction industry. Familiarity with NetSuite is highly preferred.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in accounting or a related field is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Communication: Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and vendors.
  • Time Management: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule:

  • Part-Time: 16-24 hours a week
  • Tuesday-Thursday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
