They will provide strategic and operational advice, coaching, HR expertise and counseling on key people decisions in support of the local plans. They will need to work closely with the HR Centers of Excellence (COE), and the HR Global Operations team to drive HR outcomes.They will be accountable for the HR activities and calendar of events at the location. They will provide exceptional HR support to our employees. They are a change agent, challenging existing norms and looking for constant improvements in employee experience, HR processes, and culture.Key Responsibilities Manage and execute the people plan for the location that ensures a positive employee experience, culture, ways of working and compliance. This includes delivering HR activities and service delivery to both salaried and hourly employees. Activities include, but not limited to engagement survey implementation and action planning, facilitating talent and succession, compensation awarding, performance and development, discipline, investigations, AAP etc. Partners and works with managers and other HR professionals to ensure the effective management of individual performance, and alignment with policies, work rules, and collective bargaining agreements where applicable. Provides direct coaching and counsel to managers, partnering with Regional HR Manager and in-house counsel when appropriate, to address application of policies and HR procedures, and performance issues that may include potential termination of employment. Lead Labor relations strategy and negotiations of collective bargaining agreements. Manage, coach, and develop direct reports and build future talent. Be a positive and active HR leader within the region and across Global Food HR. Work with Plant Director to ensure we are effectively developing leaders at all levels of Operations and building succession bench strength.Typical EducationBachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university
