This position supports Distribution operations within the Print & Mail Center under the direction of the Distribution Center Specialist. The tasks required for this position will primarily include the assembly and collation of materials for mailing distributions to the field, sorting those materials into the mail bins and jeters as instructed and based on the specific project requirements. This role will also assist in order fulfillment of inventoried and print-on-demand material.
The Processor position will assist in preparation of packaging for outgoing shipments by accurately labelling shipping envelopes, mailers, or boxes, then quality checking and accurately inserting the sorted materials into the appropriate packaging as required. The Processor will also assist with the accurate assembly and collation of the materials for replenishment of warehoused or other projects as needed. The Processor will assist in moving the assembled packages and kits to appropriate staging areas for shipping or warehousing.
Throughout the day, the Processor may also be requested to unload delivery trucks throughout the day, or load pick up vehicles for our daily outgoing package volume. For deliveries of incoming materials, it is required to accurately verify the quantity being received as well as the inspection of the materials for any possible damage and that the materials are in good order before accepting the delivery. 
Effective communication, accuracy, and attention for detail are the keys to succeeding in this role. The Processor is expected to communicate any issues with materials to the Distribution Center Specialist including the possibility of running short on a project or potential errors within the assembly process or the material itself and be able to provide status updates of their tasks within the Distribution Center so that informed decisions can be made during project planning.

Accurately sort and collate jobs to ensure they arrive to the customers correctly. Following all instructions with high attention to detail is key to the success of a distribution.
Compile print-on-demand material or warehoused inventory for the fulfillment of orders placed through the department’s online storefront.
Effectively communicate, whether written or verbal, with the Distribution Center Specialist any issues or concerns with materials or packaging.
Maintain and adhere to current UPS and FedEx rules and regulations while processing outgoing shipments as instructed by the Distribution Specialist.
Execute quality control checks while performing any function.
Load and unload delivery trucks and assist with moving materials for/with other employees as needed. This may be by hand or using manual and powered pallet jacks.
Formal Education & Certification

High school graduate

Knowledge & Experience

Preferred 1 year experience working in a Distribution Center.
Basic computer skills are required to work with the various shipping systems as well as Microsoft Word and Excel.

Able to perform the above listed essential functions in a satisfactory manner.
Must be able to work under the pressure of meeting weekly and monthly mail closing schedules and deadlines.
Must be quality conscious and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Physically capable of lifting a minimum of at least 60 lbs.
Capable of standing and being on your feet for extended periods of time on any given day.
Physically capable of loading and being able to push a flat-bed weighing 100-125 lbs. to a staging area for courier pick-up.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor with the ability to interact with all levels of personnel and management.
