The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python and Django, experience with TypeScript, and a solid understanding of AWS services. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining our backend systems, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and secure.A career with purpose.A career built on making dreams come true.A career built on building zero defect homes, cost management, and adherence to schedules.Your Responsibilities on the Team Design, Develop, and Maintain Backend Services and APIs: Utilize Python and Django to build and sustain backend services.Collaborate with Front-End Developers: Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.Optimize Applications: Enhance speed and scalability.Implement Security and Data Protection Measures: Ensure the safety and integrity of data.Troubleshoot, Debug, and Upgrade Existing Software: Resolve issues and improve existing systems.Write and Maintain Documentation: Ensure comprehensive documentation is available.Participate in Code Reviews: Ensure code quality and facilitate knowledge sharing.Adhere to Engineering Practices and Processes: Follow and promote test-driven development, software architecture/design, and performance focus.Proactive Problem Solving: Ensure users receive the best experience by addressing issues promptly.Monitor and Manage AWS Infrastructure: Maintain high availability and performance of AWS services.Project Ownership: Take responsibility for the entire project lifecycle.RequirementsEducational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Experience: 3-5 years in backend development using Python and Django.Proficiency: Skilled in TypeScript.AWS Services: Strong experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).API Design: Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.SQL Databases: Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL.Security Practices: Understanding of security and data protection.Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical abilities.Communication Skills: Excellent teamwork and communication capabilities.Personal Attributes: Team-oriented, confident but not arrogant, strong sense of ownership, and a proactive mindset.Preferred QualificationsAutomated Testing Frameworks: Experience with testing tools.CI/CD Pipelines: Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment.Docker and Container Tools: Experience with containerization.Microservices Architecture: Knowledge of microservices design and implementation.Life at LennarAt Lennar, Everything’s Included in our homes, and Everyone’s Included on our team.
