A Day in the Life:Responsible for the safe and efficient day-to-day Milling production operations. Support the Plant Manager in monitoring and improving plant efficiency.What You ll Be Doing:Cultivate a safety culture where unsafe acts are not tolerated and employees and management have a common goal of zero injuries.Be responsible for assigned facility production activities to ensure operations are running at the highest levels of efficiency.Run monthly sanitation inspections and lead, monitor and ensure corrective actions are completed as necessary.Track and report facility productivity improvementsApprove daily reports and KPRs for department, may be responsible for two or more departments.Support and develop Crush, Refinery, Milling and/or Packaging Supervisors in operations issues and trouble shooting.Assist the Plant Manager in planning annual shutdownsOversee the Process Safety Management programs, where applicableWork with the Safety/Environmental Manager to ensure compliance in all aspectsResponsible for developing and driving Operations Excellence Plans to help meet safety, quality and production goals and show continuous improvement throughout the facility.Support the continuous improvement activities and act as a change agent for any changes that occur in the facility.Monitor KPR s throughout the facility and help develop plans to bring teams in line with Operations Excellence goals.Participate in daily production meetings to remain informed and ensure that the activities of all production operations management are aligned.Monitor and manage product yieldsParticipate in new employee selection processAssist Department Supervisors and Shift Supervisors with personnel issues by participating in investigations and recommending corrective actions as necessary.Perform other duties as assigned.Skills/Experience Requirements:7+ years of experience (or equivalent combination of education and years of experience) in soybean crushing, oil refining, milling, oil packaging operations, or related and applicable activitiesHigh School graduate or equivalent requiredBachelor s degree in engineering or a related field is preferredProficiency with basic digital literacy, including Lotus Notes, Microsoft Word and other technical software packages, as neededWork Schedule: Standard (On-call 24/7 as needed)At Bunge, people don t just come here to work, they come here to grow
