The Senior PEGA Systems Analyst, as part of the workflow strategic process team, is the liaison between IT and business, works directly with end-user groups and management to elicit user requirements and develop functional specifications for digital solutions. This position will collaborate closely with other analysts, developers and designers to ensure system functionality aligns with business requirements and compliance standards. This role includes application code development and configuration, support, testing, documentation, and training. The Senior role will take a broader perspective to identify innovative solutions, lead, assign work to or train other analysts, performs complex tasks with some oversight such as developing business cases, experience storyboards, personas, digital requirements management and contributing to the system deliverables and user documentation.

 

What you will do

  • Engage cross departmental teams to transform business requirements into user and functional requirements for primarily workflow technologies including, but not limited to Pega Platform, OnBase, Web based guided user platforms, Microsoft Access and other workflow technologies; with working knowledge of Sales Force, internal applications for recordkeeping, servicing, client facing, contracts and agreements applications, and retirement plan lifecycle
  • Provide basic daily technology support; including new development setup or application configuration to meet business needs
  • Work with UI/UX designers and other technology teams to document business needs for digital project deliverables
  • Write and maintain software requirements specifications that are clear, complete and executable
  • Verify technical design specifications meet user requirements
  • Responsible for test plan development, thorough user acceptance, and functional testing of owned processes and technologies to ensure product deployments with no system outages or client impact
  • Conduct problem analysis, prepare recommendations for action working under direction of lead analyst or value stream owner
  • Partner with project manager to ascertain project task estimates, deadlines and deliverables, simultaneously working on multiple projects
  • Perform gap analysis and define gap closure strategies
  • Gain consensus and approval on final requirements

 

What you will bring

  • Bachelor's degree (IT, Business, Finance) or equivalent experience required
  • 5+ years prior project management experience, including experience creating software requirements specifications, and application configuration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively influence at multiple levels across the organization
  • Ability to prioritize resources and tasks in a fast paced changing environment, highly analytical and detail oriented
  • Power User of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access)
  • Strong consultative interpersonal and relationship building skills, able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical project team members
  • Strong experience creating user stories defining business needs for digital solutions
  • Effective written, listening and verbal communication skills
  • Extensive experience creating business documents using Microsoft Word, Excel and Visio

  • Deep background in retirement plan administration preferred or 2-3 years business process management experience
  • Pega Certifications - Business Architect Preferred or 3-5 years Pega or business process management experience
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of diverse departments and individuals, both internal and externally facing is critical for success
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management and end users
  • Ability to define problems, assemble and analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and make recommendations
  • Experience working in Retirement Services
  • Experience with XML structures, smart forms, SQl, OnBase, and Salesforce applications

Base Salary Range

$84,000.00 - $118,575.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
