So we strive to make a difference in your life as well with the competitive pay and benefits you'd expect from an industry leader, plus:Great starting pay rates and appreciation pay of $1.00/hour more every week if you work your scheduled shifts in that weekAnnual merit increasesExcellent Medical, Dental and Vision benefitsOvertime Availability401(k) matching and profit sharing programsGenerous vacation package, sick days and paid holidaysLegal service benefit available Company Paid term life and AD&D insuranceGreat potential for growth with internal promotionsTuition reimbursement program availableThis role is responsible for performing all necessary tasks in order to produce the product needed by operating, adjusting, and monitoring production equipment in our Salsa department.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Job is an individual contributor and has no direct reports.Work production line by watching for equipment malfunctions or product defects, loading raw materials into equipment, unloading work in progress or finished product and moving materials to and from the equipmentNotify lead or supervisory staff if unusual operations identified.Perform general housekeeping duties in production area; maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with existing policy.Comply with organization policies including, but not limited to, safety, good manufacturing practices, food safety, and employment and work rules.Be able to do simple hand manipulation of a repetitive nature.Be able to work in a variety of climatic conditions including low temperatures, high temperatures, and high humidity.Must be able to learn and understand both personal safety and food safety actions.This role has the responsibility to understand and places in practice appropriate safety procedures. This responsibility is achieved through education, training, use of protective equipment (as applicable) and by following safety policies, regulations, standards, and laws.Perform other duties as assigned.Required SkillsWork Environment:Work can be performed within a manufacturing plant environment with noise, extreme temperatures, and significant movement of powered equipment, people and conveyor (may depend on the role).Work conditions are typical of an office & plant environment.This role does not require any domestic travelPosition requires the physical agility to perform continuous lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use hands or fingers, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, controls and standing/walking on concrete flooring.Position requires the physical ability to stand/walk for the duration of work hours.OSI Industries is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer that believes everyone has the right to be treated with dignity and respect.
