The SAP FICO Manager candidate will be responsible for the design, development, implementation and control of financial systems and applications. Responsibilities will include leading projects and supporting cross functional supporting programs. This is a permanent, hybrid position located in the northern suburbs of Chicago.

SAP FICO Manager Responsibilities:



  • Provide thought leadership on best practices / emerging technologies for Finance functions
  • Support, plan, execute and manage IT project deliverables by partnering with internal and external resources
  • Accountable for the design and governance of SAP S/4 FICO and RTR business processes
  • Develop and deploy new processes and system configuration
  • Assist in designing the financial systems roadmap including migration to SAP S/4
  • Play a key role on the Finance work stream for upcoming migration to SAP S/4
  • Drive implementation of software from solution design through hyper care leveraging internal resources and external systems integrators as required
  • Support business process improvement and technology support across Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations and Internal Audit and Cross Functional Finance integration
  • Manage relationships with the Finance clients
  • Partner with Cybersecurity to minimize risk to RCP when partnering with software providers


SAP FICO Manager Requirements:



  • Great attention to detail but can still see the big picture

  • Expert problem-solver
  • BA/BS degree in Information Systems, Finance or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in the implementations and/or support of SAP FI and CO modules
  • Experience in CPG / Manufacturing industry
  • IT Project Life-cycle experience in design, configurations, testing, master data management and post go-live of SAP ECC RTR processes
  • Extensive experience with SAP configurations including GL, Profit center splitting, Inter company, AP, AR, Asset Management, CO, CCA, Product Costing, Tax and Treasury
  • Led the functional design of Finance Systems during implementations of SAP S/4 preferred
  • Supervisory experience and SAP certifications preferred
  • Experience with SAP configurations including GL, Profit center splitting, Inter company, AP, AR, Asset Management, CO, CCA, Product Costing, Tax and Treasury preferred
