About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer - SAP FICO Functional to join our team at Walmart Global Tech. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge solutions using SAP FICO Functional expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the design, development, and implementation of SAP FICO Functional solutions.
  • Build, test, and deploy scalable solutions that impact associates worldwide.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage expertise and contribute to the tech community.
  • Participate in the successful implementation of SAP FICO Functional solutions by applying technical skills and expertise.
  • Work closely with Tech Leads/Architects and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions meeting QCD (Quality, Cost & Delivery) within established architectural guidelines.
  • Follow TDD to ensure testing and code coverage.
  • Stay up-to-date with new and changing technologies and adapt to ensure best software practices and standards.
  • Participate in hiring and support to build teams.
  • Interact closely with business owners and technical teams within India and across the globe.
Requirements
  • Must have experience in SAP Finance areas like General Ledger, Accounts payable, Accounts Receivable, Controlling, Asset Accounting, Accounts Receivables, Bank Accounting, Tax, etc.
  • High level of functional competency regarding standard SAP configuration and functionality with understanding of best practices, new trends, technical advancements & future enhancements.
  • Solid understanding of Accounts Receivable processes and SAP configuration of AR sub-ledger, business partner, contract accounts, collections management, dispute management, returns/credit memo management/workflow, payment plans, funds management, banking & business rule framework (BRF+), payment hierarchy, clearing rules, dunning, security deposits, payment clearings, open item management, tax calculations, installment plans, refund process, and write offs.
  • Experience in Treasury Investment Management and Risk Management modules.
  • Experience with SAP support or green field implementations.
  • Experience in implementing SAP S4 HANA solutions.
  • Master's or bachelor's in computer science or related field with at least 10 to 12 years of experience in SAP Finance modules.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in agile environment using scrum tools like JIRA.
  • Experience with minimum 2 or 3 SAP FICO Implementations/Rollout Experience.
  • Good Problem-Solving Skills and ability to handle issues independently.
  • Field experience / expertise with the Treasury domain / Vertex suite of tools / solutions.
