Network Administrator

- Supports and demonstrates IMA's core values.

- Design, implement, document, and maintain network infrastructure to support the company's operations.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal functionality.
- Implement and enforce network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate network systems with other technology components.
- Lead network-related projects to improve infrastructure and support business objectives.
- Conduct regular network audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide technical support and guidance to IT peers on network-related issues.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices in network administration.
- Assist with general system administration tasks such as server management, patch management and on-call rotations.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: include but are not limited to:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 2-4 years of experience in network administration.
- Advanced certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent preferred.
- 1-2 years' experience in cloud networking concepts and technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.) preferred.
- Proficiency in network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, SDWAN, and VPNs.
- Experience working with telecom vendors on troubleshooting, ordering, changing, replacing, and disconnecting services.
- Experience with various network hardware from vendors such Cisco, Meraki, WatchGuard, SonicWall.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex network issues.
- Experience with network security practices and technologies.
- Familiarity with system administration tasks outside of network administration.
- Familiarity with datacenter hardware, server operating systems, virtualization, and BCDR practices.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Exceptional focus on customer service required.
- Some travel required.

Salary Range
$115,000-$135,000 USD
