They are seeking a talented and resourceful Network Systems Integrator to maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot our wireless network infrastructure. This position focuses on ensuring seamless integration of network systems and equipment with a specific emphasis on wireless technologies such as Tarana and Cambium.

Focus:

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain wireless network systems, including point-to-point microwave connections, routers, switches, and access points.
  • Respond to network outages in the field, including collaboration with the operations team during tower or Network Operations Center (NOC) incidents.
  • Work with advanced wireless equipment such as Tarana and Cambium to ensure network reliability and optimal performance.
  • Configure and program network hardware, including routers, switches, and access points, to meet evolving requirements.
  • Provide basic support for software updates and system enhancements tied to network functionality.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for diagnosing and resolving network performance issues.
  • Collaborate with web development teams to align web-based services with network functionality.
  • Support occasional basic updates to website-related HTML as needed.

Skill Set:

  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in network integration, preferably in a WISP or wireless technology environment.
  • Practical expertise with wireless equipment, especially Tarana, Cambium, or comparable systems.
  • Proficiency in configuring and programming routers, switches, and access points.
  • Familiarity with network programming and basic HTML knowledge.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a focus on quick and effective solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and with field technicians.
