Summary:

Responsible for cross-functional management of exposure management security products and requirements, including Secureworks’ vulnerability management solution, through their entire life cycle to achieve P&L goals. The Senior Product Manager will:

Use technical and industry experience to formulate product/ solution strategies.
Research markets to determine opportunities.
Ensure offerings are defined to maximize profitability.
Evaluate and adjust product strategies to respond to competition.
Work with product development leaders in engineering/ R&D teams to ensure customer needs and requirements are represented.
Develop and maintain the product roadmap.
Act as the Subject Matter Expertise (SME) for internal and external product events, including analyst meetings, press interviews, sales training and partner meetings.

Accountabilities

Product Strategy and Roadmap:Lead the development and execution of a clear, forward-looking product roadmap aligned with market trends, customer needs, and business objectives.
Partner with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to prioritize features, resources, and timelines for product development.
Conduct competitive analysis, market and customer research to identify and capitalize on emerging threats and opportunities.



Product Development and Innovation:Define and own the product vision, user experience, and feature sets for the vulnerability/exposure management solutions.
Work closely with engineering and design teams to translate product requirements into high-quality, user-friendly solutions.
Champion innovation through experimentation, piloting new technologies and strategies to keep our platform at the cutting edge.


Go-to-Market Strategy and Execution:Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop compelling messaging and positioning for the solution set.
Drive product adoption through effective launch plans, documentation, and training materials.
Analyze customer feedback and usage data to refine the product and market fit.


Metrics and Performance Management:Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the solution set, measuring its effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
Analyze product usage data to identify areas for improvement and optimize feature prioritization.
Regularly present data-driven insights to stakeholders to inform product decisions and future iterations.



Essential Requirements

7 + years of experience in product management, ideally within the cybersecurity space.
Understanding of the vulnerability management, posture management and/or exposure management markets, and security best practices.
Excellent customer discovery skills in understanding proactive vulnerability and exposure management requirements
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to effectively build relationships with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Excellent technology/engineering skills relating to design, test and quality of security products and services
Experience working with agile development methodologies in a fast-paced environment.
Solid grasp of business goals and objectives as they relate to customer use cases and solutions
Excellence in understanding competitors and their products as well as potential partner relationships for the product
Experience in writing product and customer requirements and using qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize decision-making.


Desirable Requirements

Proven experience working on a world-class product
MBA or advanced degree in business technology
Product Management training in Pragmatic or SVG Group frameworks
Experience in user experience (UX) research and design.
Understanding of cloud technologies and security architecture
