Reports To: Project Executive or Senior Project Manager

Summary:

Join the Pride Enterprises team as a Project Manager, where you'll play a vital role in our company's mission, vision, and core values. As a key member of our team, you'll ensure that our contracts are executed as planned, overseeing a wide range of construction projects from inception to completion. You'll organize and manage construction procedures to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand project needs
  • Provide preconstruction services, including cost estimating and scheduling
  • Determine necessary resources (manpower, equipment, materials) with attention to budget
  • Review labor, materials, and equipment estimates
  • Represent clients in project and strategy meetings
  • Manage payment application reviews and approvals
  • Oversee RFIs, Submittals, QA/QC, warranty, and change order processes
  • Conduct routine site observations to identify potential hazards
  • Manage financial aspects of contracts, protecting client interests and maintaining subcontractor relationships

Site Specific Functions:

  • Establish submittal requirements and schedules with subcontractors
  • Develop and manage material procurement and installation schedules
  • Monitor fabrication progress and ensure compliance with design intent
  • Facilitate subcontractor monthly requisitions
  • Assist with budget management and cost proposal reviews
  • Participate in safety reviews and preplanning meetings
  • Manage punchlist and close-out documentation

Competency Requirements:

  • Proven experience in construction project management
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies and procedures
  • Familiarity with quality and health safety standards
  • Proficient in MS Office and project management software
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Team player with leadership abilities
  • BSc/BA in engineering, building science, or a related field
  • PMP, CPM, LEED, A.I.A., PE, OSHA certifications are advantageous

Work Environment:

  • Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, mechanical parts, and vibrations
  • Occasionally exposed to extreme conditions at construction sites
  • Noise levels can be loud, and work may be outdoors in various weather conditions

Physical Demands:

  • Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

  • Full-time position, hours dictated by client needs
  • Mandatory attendance at all scheduled monthly staff meetings at headquarters

Travel:

  • Travel may be required as per client or project needs
