Overview: As a Lead Designer, you’ll be coming up with fresh and original concepts to meet a brief across pretty much every channel and media there is, so you’ll need to be flexible, open-minded and able to think on your feet.

How you'll make an impact: Conceive and create compelling conceptual design solutions that address strategic business and audience objectives across a range of media.
Defining or adapting the brand look & feel for a variety of channels and platforms while adhering to brand guidelines.
Bring your own ideas and creative thinking to seemingly simple briefs.
Working with global campaigns, toolkits and assets supplied, you will have a passion for being creative within guidelines/framework.
Create cohesive multi-channel digital creative that aligns with larger brand story.
Act as a brand guardian, producing high quality work within tight timelines.
Ability to lead, collaborate and mentor Junior/Mid-Level creative team members.
You will be working across many different projects and campaigns. You will need to manage projects within agreed timelines taking into account quality and consistency.
As we foster a close working relationship with the client you must be comfortable at presenting, questioning, and taking client feedback. Building trust is key as to producing better work and it’s essential to drive our growth and success.
To challenge, push, lead and develop the creative output of the Team. Whilst maintaining quality, providing sustainability, and promoting growth.
To think differently but be able to tell the story as to why, stirring emotions, inspiring and thought-provoking along the way.
Work effectively with the Creative Director and Head of Creative to ensure the design work exceeds client expectations.
Collaborate with UX, Consultants and Developers to ensure the project runs smoothly. Carry out duties following internal policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, good governance, and Gallagher’s shared values, in particular, putting clients at the heart of our business.

About you: Qualifications

Hons Degree in Art & Design/ Advertising/ Communications or relevant industry experience

Technical Knowledge

An expert in Adobe CS, good knowledge design for web (Figma, Sketch & Invision)



Experience

+5 Years previous commercial experience.
Proven ability to produce consumer-grade creative work, and a master-level understanding of design, including typography and layout.

Skills/other

Strong project management skills including budget and timeline management.
Effective communication skills within and across teams.
Problem solving.
Ability to develop ideas for product innovation.
An excellent eye for detail.
Outstanding presentation skills and comfortable working directly with clients.
Ability to bring fresh, inspirational thinking to any brand.

Informed opinion on contemporary design and agencies.
A strong working knowledge of experience design, brand development, interactive commerce, and creative process.
