The Company's technology enables physicians to provide advanced solutions for a broad range of medical-aesthetic applications including hair removal, wrinkle reduction, tattoo removal, improving the skin's appearance through the treatment of benign vascular and pigmented lesions, and the treatment of acne, leg veins, scarring and other common indications.
Candela develops products for the global aesthetic market. These products begin as concepts developed by Candela's world-class team of scientists and engineers or as acquired or licensed technologies that Candela then completes the development and/or commercialization of. These programs are supported by Candela's global clinical, regulatory, and quality teams and are managed through our Product Development Process (PDP) and Quality Management System (QMS)
The Company's headquarters are in Marlborough, Massachusetts, US, with and additional R&D facility in Yokneam, Israel and commercial locations across Asia Pacific, and Europe. Products are sold direct in 18 countries worldwide and through distributors in over 60 others and are supported by field service, clinical education, marketing development organizations and distributorship arrangements.
General Summary
The Clinical Trainer focuses on training both external clients and internal team members to support North America sales and marketing business growth plans.
Essential Job Functions
• Provide onsite training and support to Candela Corporation clients as well as other key members of the multidisciplinary team.
• Develop and administer training programs and ultimately demonstrate and participate in practical procedures as required.
• Support the medical and aesthetic industry through best practice techniques and functionalities of all Candela devices.
• Perform necessary Salesforce documentation including training attendee details.
• Issue training certificates to attendees accordingly.
• Keep up to date with the clinical studies, white papers and clinical bulletins and educate clients based upon data.
• Advise customers and internal staff on products / treatment parameters.
• Represent Candela at conferences, trade shows, seminars, and workshops in North America.
• Maintain expense reports through Concur in a timely manner. May need to personally expense travel and receive reimbursement.
• 50-80% Travel withing New England Territory
Knowledge/Educational Requirements
• Previous experience with laser, IPL or energy based devices.
• Previous clinical training experience.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Excellent proficiency in writing and delivering education / training programs.
• Commitment to professionalism and continuous improvement.
• High levels of initiative and organizational skills.
• Desire to learn and be an integral team member.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Must hold a current unrestricted driver's license.
