Training Manager – Learning & Development

On pace to open over 140 locations by the end of 2024 and 250 by 2026, Scenthound is establishing itself as the preeminent solution for routine and preventive dog care.
POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Scenthound Training Manager, you’ll manage a team of training facilitators to provide operational training support to the Scenthound franchise system. Your main responsibilities will be upholding our brand values through in-person and virtual training facilitation, analyzing franchisee and employee training needs, identifying training gaps and continuity, and assisting in creating new or updated training resources in partnership with subject matter experts. A successful Training Manager is a proactive and clear communicator who acts with a sense of urgency, proactively solving problems, adapting to change, and loves working dogs and people alike
REQUIREMENTS:
· 5+ years in a management position
· 5+ years in a teaching, training, or coaching position
· Experience creating and developing training resources
· Experience in sales and/or customer experience environments
· Willingness to travel as needed (up to 40%)
· Must live in or be willing to relocate to the Palm Beach, FL area
· Must be comfortable handling all dog breeds
· Stamina to stand for long periods; strength to lift up to 50 pounds

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
· This is an on-site position at our corporate headquarters in Jupiter, FL
· Domestic travel up to 40%
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to develop and maintain training materials
· Organize in-house and on-site learning activities, including virtual and field training, presentations, role-playing exercises, job observations, and assessments
· Maintain annual training calendar and training catalog
· Facilitate orientations and training for Franchise owners
· Evaluate trainee performance and experience through surveys and feedback collection
· Oversee support and management of Learning Management System
· Stay up to date on Scenthound processes and L&D best practices
· Be available to franchise owners, managers, and trainees for training support
· Manage a team of training facilitators to ensure engaging, valuable, and high quality instruction and coaching is consistently delivered throughout all mediums
· Other tasks or responsibilities as required
