Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN, responsible for the clinical and operational functions of the CVICU. You will manage unit activities in collaboration with the Nursing Director and lead a phenomenal team to provide exceptional patient care.

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care during your shifts.
  • Coordinate and evaluate nursing care in adherence to established policies.
  • Serve as a resource for staff, exemplifying commitment to our organization’s mission and values.
  • Oversee staff roles and coordinate patient placements based on acuity and availability.
  • Identify educational needs and address them effectively.
  • Facilitate patient care conferences, focusing on discharge planning.
  • Ensure physician rounds are made and remain informed about patient condition changes.
  • Ensure timely execution of medical orders and interventions.

Job Requirements:

  • Active Florida RN license or approved multistate RN license.
  • Preferred: 2 years of acute care RN experience.
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Bachelor's Degree, RN Diploma, or Associate Degree.
  • BCLS Instructor certification required before employment.
  • ACLS certification within 6 months of employment.
  • PALS certification within 6 months of employment.
  • Neonate Resuscitation certification within 30 days of employment.

HCA Florida Osceola Hospital is a 404-bed tertiary care facility, accredited by the Joint Commission and designated as a Level II Trauma Center.
