Job Opportunity:

As a Consumer Account Specialist-Associate, you will provide customer service and risk management for consumer bank accounts. You will also perform transaction processing for various bank products and ensure accuracy while providing quality service within compliance requirements. Working with cross-functional teams you will be required to research, analyze, and resolve member account or loan issues.

  • Perform basic maintenance, research and resolution of member accounts within established processes.

  • Update member account information on various Bank products that may include Credit Card, Deposit, Consumer Loan, Home Equity Loans and Archived Accounts.

  • Contact members for additional and/or missing information, provide and update statuses, and ultimately provide resolutions.

  • Review account documentation to ensure compliance with USAA, State, and Federal regulations and policies.

  • Direct appropriately identified issues to team members for resolution when necessary.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.

  • Up to 1 year of customer contact experience in Banking or Financial Services Call Center environment.

  • Basic knowledge bank products, online banking, mobile banking applications, banking cards, etc. are required.

  • Basic understanding of Bank related legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Foundational knowledge of Windows operating system environment and Microsoft Office tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with inbound calling operations, high-risk authentication procedures, and member escalations.

  • Experience working for USAA Bank.

Hours: Monday - Friday -10:00 am - 6:30 pm CST. Candidate must be in the office 4 days a week.
