Founded in 1837, Cuyahoga County’s safety-net health system operates four hospitals, four emergency departments and more than 20 health centers. Summary: Administers/interprets appropriate assessment measures in order to form appropriate recommendations for the management of communication disorders. Develops/provides treatment programs for patient populations ranging from children through geriatric. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System. Qualifications: Required: Masters Degree in speech pathology and a valid State of Ohio Speech-Language Pathology Licensure Must be certified as a Speech-Language Pathologist by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), or must obtain certification: • Within 12 months of hire for a full-time employee • Within 18 months of hire for a part-time employee Possesses current BLS certification, or obtains within 90 days of hire. Ability to travel to satellite locations. Preferred: None Physical Requirements: May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
