Administrative Coordinator

This position serves as the Administrative Coordinator to the Director of Clinical Operations and Service Line Administrator for the Oncology Program. The Administrative Coordinator works closely with the Coordinator of Academic Services, the Administrator and other oncology leadership in the North Region.
- Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson
- Provides full administrative support in a discretionary manner and oversees all activities related to the activities of the Director of Clinical Operations and Service Line Administrator. Assures that all faculty staff requests are handled in a timely manner
- Oversees the daily operations and independently provides assistance for all incoming miscellaneous inquiries involving departmental matters not requiring the DCOrsquo;s immediate attention
- Provides financial oversight for all reimbursement of travel expenses, reconciliation of petty cash and purchases initiated by the DCO
- Schedules appointments and arranges for travel for DCO, directs departmental calendars, manages requests, and tracks deliverables and preparations as needed
- Oversees administrative functions of the Department of Medical Oncology to include the needs of faculty when required
- Maintains faculty and departmental records including contracts, licenses and all other documents that comprise employment files in the Oncology Department
- Maintains knowledge and awareness on the status of departmental activities
- Attends departmental meetings and takes minutes as indicated
- Organize and maintain departmental leadership calendars and schedules
- Maintains departmental files and databases
Associatersquo;s degree or business equivalent preferred. Will accept high school diploma or equivalent with 1-4 years of experience
1-4 years with High School Diploma or equivalent.
