Pine Gate Renewables is looking for a Sr IT Support Specialist who is responsible for providing advanced support for IT infrastructure and end-user devices. This role will troubleshoot complex issues, resolve incidents, and implement solutions to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems. What You'll Do
- Provide advanced technical support for IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents, escalating issues as needed.
- Implement solutions to improve the performance, reliability, and security of IT systems.
- Monitor IT systems and proactively identify and address potential issues.
- Provide training and guidance to junior IT support staff.
- Provide excellent user experience through the ticketing queue.
- Solve complex technical issues for IT infrastructure and end-user devices.
- Support Microsoft environments and services.
- 3 or more years' experience in IT support preferred.
- Proven experience providing high-quality technical support and customer service to end-users in various environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
- Experience managing and responding to technical incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing downtime.
- Expertise in diagnosing and repairing hardware malfunctions, including workstations, laptops, printers, and other equipment.
- Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues, ensuring smooth functioning of software and minimizing disruptions to business processes.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field preferred.
- Preferred: Onsite in Asheville, NC; some remote work.
