JOB SUMMARY
Vaco Technology is currently seeking a Senior Data Solution Architect for a 6M+ Contract opportunity (with the potential to convert to fulltime) that is located in Irving, TX 75062 (onsite 4-days per week). The Senior Data Solution Architect will work with senior leadership to review and assess the current landscape and architecture of the data platform and environment and design and architect new solutions to create more real-time data solutions. The Senior Data Solution Architect must possess extensive experience working across Microsoft environments utilizing Azure Cloud Solutions. The Senior Data Solution Architect will work in collaboration with the business operations leaders to gain insight to how the company utilizes their data, uncover additional needs, and ultimately build an enhanced and scalable environment to meet business initiatives.
About the Project: A Third Party has built their current data cube, which is static. They have indicated that they are in serious need of creating a better architecture and platform to better meet their business needs. The Third Party is also currently responsible for building out their automation processes. The Data Sets are not very large, with 8 brands managing approximately 2,000 jobs per year, where each job generates a unique data instance, resulting in thousands of data sets. The challenge lies in the differing definitions and applications of data (sales, cost, vendors, etc.) across the brands. The Data Architect will need to customize the platform to address these unique brand instances. Additionally, the company is moving into acquisition mode and the overall objective is to have their new data platform ready for this new growth phase.

- the individual's skill sets, experience and training;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
