We are seeking a highly skilled GCP Data Solutions Architect to join our team at KC Executive Search.

About the Role:

  • Design and implement big data architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for our clients.
  • Develop and maintain BI & Big Data Analytics environments on premise or on Google Cloud Management Platform.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to size, scale, and tune existing and new architecture.
  • Manage and provision cloud solution infrastructure (network, storage, and compute resources) and ensure legal compliance and security standards.
  • Familiarity with real-time streaming and processing of various data sources, including logs, time series telemetry data, unstructured social data, and relational data.

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience in Data Analytics and Big Data.
  • Experience in architecting and designing solutions leveraging Google Cloud products such as Cloud BigQuery, GCS, Cloud DataFlow, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud BigTable, and Tensorflow.
  • Good understanding of Google best practices and recommendations.
  • Ability to align customer requirements with Google best practices to deliver best-in-class solutions.
  • Preferred experience in executing end-to-end implementation/migration of data warehouses and big data projects from on-prem to GCP.
  • Working knowledge of microservices using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Migration of workloads from on-prem/other public clouds to Google Cloud Platform.
