Position Summary:

You are a hard worker who enjoys system implementation, organization, and a facilitator for a company that has continued year over year growth. Responsibilities
  • Creates and executes shipping documents for international and domestic cargo
  • Responsible for all shipping paperwork, along with rendering electronic historical data for accessibility
  • Schedules inbound appointments for carriers into Morganton, including drayage, LTL, and truckload
  • Maintains the coordination of empty containers in Morganton to eliminate bobtail and accessorial charges
  • Oversees the vendor portals to ensure compliance with National Retailers requirements and to mitigate chargebacks
  • Provides shipment quotes for supply chain and sales orders for Morganton and Mooresville
  • Tracks National Retailer domestic moves and provides updates, as needed
  • Maintains container reports for visibility to cross functional teams
Job Qualification
  • Degree in logistics, supply chain or a similar field
  • Certified in HazMat
  • At least two years of experience in a logistics role
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Preferable experience with SAP, Visio, FGV, OW, FedEx systems (Ship Manager, Returns Portal) and DCM
  • Experience in using process driver and analytical approaches to drive business objective
  • Advanced excel knowledge for analytical purposes
  • Working knowledge of customs operation, data analysis and statistics
