This role requires collaboration with various internal departments, external carriers, and logistics teams to ensure seamless shipment coordination and accurate record maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the routing of customer orders between the Fulfillment and Shipping divisions.
- Engage in clear communication with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure prompt shipment execution.
- Prepare essential shipping documentation, including bills of lading for load tendering.
- Investigate and resolve any shipment-related issues or discrepancies.
- Maintain comprehensive shipment records in accordance with transportation guidelines.
- Adhere to customer-specific instructions for shipment preparation.
- Work closely with supervisors and shipping staff to enhance operational efficiency.
- Comply with safety and regulatory standards in all logistics activities.
- Demonstrated experience in logistics coordination or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational capabilities with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
- Effective problem-solving skills to address challenges and implement solutions.
- Proficient in utilizing computer systems and software for logistics management.
- Able to work collaboratively in a team setting as well as independently.
- Adaptable to changing priorities and operational demands.
- A high school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or related fields are advantageous.
