Job Summary: The Client Account Manager/Business Development Specialist will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our high voltage construction business. This dual-role position focuses on managing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the high voltage construction industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in business development and account management.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Client Account Management:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
    • Conduct regular client meetings to review project progress, gather feedback, and discuss future opportunities.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
  2. Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the high voltage construction market.
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the company's client base and market presence.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for growth.
    • Prepare and present proposals, bids, and presentations to prospective clients.
    • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to generate leads and build professional relationships.
  3. Strategic Planning and Reporting:
    • Develop and execute business development strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
    • Prepare regular reports on account status, business development activities, and market conditions.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on client feedback and market analysis.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and sales activities using CRM software.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in client account management and business development, preferably in the high voltage construction or a related industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of the high voltage construction industry, including key players, market trends, and regulatory environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
