Responsibilities

The work you may do
  • Design and construction of public works infrastructure projects
  • Preparation of plans, details, specifications, and bidding documents
  • Preparation of technical reports and regulatory permits for projects
  • General project management for multiple projects, including planning, scoping, monitoring budgets and QA/QC
  • Client interaction, including meetings with existing and new clients as needed
Qualifications

What you bring
Skills & Knowledge / Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or similar) required
  • 2+ years of prior experience serving multiple clients required
  • PE license preferred
  • EIT required
  • The ideal candidate will have an interest in Public Works and able to interact with clients
  • Knowledge of regulations and requirements (Illinois preferred)
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and client needs preferred
  • Experience with funding and grants available to municipalities preferred
  • A desire to learn more about public works engineering and consulting
  • This position requires you to have authorization to work in the United States for any employer. We will not provide sponsorship for this position.

STIP payments are awarded if MSA reaches its corporate financial plan for the year.
