Position Summary/objective:

This highly visible leadership position has been designed for an executive marketing professional to oversee critical responsibilities for Immatics' bi-specifics and cell therapy franchises in the US. This role will be responsible for working in close collaboration with internal partners, global affiliates, and alliance partners to cover a robust portfolio and pipeline.

We are looking for a highly strategic and visionary leader to build and sustain a portfolio that is designed to be the engine that drives our organization into the future and helps achieve Immatics' aspiration to become a leader in bispecifics and cell therapy.

Essential functions:

  • Support portfolio prioritization activities in partnership with clinical development
  • Oversee and execute the scientific communications tactical plan
  • Lead competitive intelligence gathering and summarize key findings for dissemination to senior leadership
  • Support development and execution of commercialization roadmap
  • Plan and execute marketing tactics to drive awareness of Immatics' and our programs
  • Lead brand development for IMA203
  • Serve as subject matter expert on pricing and reimbursement for the US markets
  • Execute market research as needed
  • Prepare for and lead commercial advisory board. Work with the finance team to help produce budgets and timelines for the commercial team
  • Support due diligence activities of new scientific developments
  • Develop commercial talent within the group and to support the strategies of the Company

Work environment:

This is a sedentary position (at least 50% of time) in a typical office environment. There may be frequent interruptions with moderate noise levels and frequent use of printers, copiers, scanners, computers and other office equipment. Ability to sit, talk, walk, hear and communicate verbally and in writing is required. Occasional lifting of objects up to 25lbs is expected.

Required education and experience
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • MBA or post-graduate degree desirable
  • 15+ years of commercial experience, ideally spanning product launch, marketing, sales, market access and market analysis experience within the US pharmaceutical industry
  • High level of intellectual curiosity combined with strong strategic and analytical skills
  • Extensive experience with developing and executing marketing strategies and tactics, market research and analysis and business forecasting
Preferred education and experience
  • Experience/knowledge of bispecifics and/or cell therapy space
  • Cell therapy launch experience
