Under general supervision, the Outreach Specialist is responsible for initiating, cultivating, and maintaining strong relationships with partners as well as creating and delivering effective communication, both internally and externally, to promote Educational Development and Engagement's services and platforms.

Responsibilities:

Support

  • Provide support to the product development teams by managing the discovery and intake of new products from partners.
  • Oversees partner communication during product initiation and after product development is complete to help ensure partner success.
  • Maintain existing partner success metrics and data as directed, which includes satisfaction surveys, project debriefs, quarterly scope of work, and partner profiles.
  • Utilize analytical skills to identify problems, find solutions, and improve relationships across the organization.
  • Contribute to writing, proofing, and editing EDE communications and other materials as needed.
  • Utilize market analysis and research to maintain and develop partner success strategies and best practices, with the help of the creative team.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Outreach
  • Support the development and implementation of communication strategies that raise awareness of Education Development and Engagement throughout our organization, Texas, and beyond.
  • Write content to support communications efforts, including internal and/or external newsletters, website copy, outreach materials, email campaigns, etc.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Communications to continue promoting products and events.
  • Monitor analytics and create reports detailing the successes and failures of communications campaigns and strategies.
  • Initiate and develop collaborative relationships with internal/external key partners/stakeholders.
  • Establish a trusted and strategic relationship with partners to help drive continued value of EDE products and services.
  • Maintain a calendar of outreach opportunities, including organization events, workshops, appearances, and other communication opportunities to represent ADE.
  • Plan and implement outreach efforts to enhance awareness of EDE's services and resources and improve relationships between partners and EDE.
  • Assess industry needs and consumer interests by attending events and meetings to identify future high-value development opportunities for the unit.
  • Participate in industry events to distribute information about EDE platforms and interact with customers, potential customers, partners, and/or leadership.
  • Utilize analytical skills to identify problems, find solutions, and improve relationships across the organization.
  • Identify and recruit prospective partners, leading to the development of high-impact products.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two years of related experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to foster trusting internal and external relationships.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, as well as public-speaking and presentation skills.
  • Adaptable self-starter with the ability to analyze needs and adjust priorities.
  • Comfortable working across multiple departments in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Critical thinker; adept at seeing a big-picture perspective and impactful solutions to problems.
Preferred Experience:
  • 1 year of experience working within Educational Development and Engagement and/or Texas A&M AgriLife.
  • 2 years of experience in Communications, Strategic Planning, Client Success, and/or Educational Programming, and Outreach.


Salary: Pay Grade 9
