Overview

The Foodservice Insights Manager is the data, research and intelligence center for Foodservice, and key to understanding operator segmentation better. You will serve as the primary contact in collecting, analyzing, and disseminating market, distributor and operator data to drive brand and sales strategies and tactics. Also responsible for all research and trend presentations, intelligence, and dissemination of information to the team.

Responsibilities

  • Pull, track and analyze sales data, publishing monthly and quarterly business reviews
  • Pull and analyze research and trend information and disseminate that information to the team
  • Work as the customer relationship manager as it relates to data, research and trend information
  • Maintain all research databases and support mediums
  • Create custom reports, analysis, presentations and sales materials for marketing and sales teams
  • Supports and assists in the development of segment specific marketing activities
  • Develop scorecards and insights to drive category management
  • Identify areas for growth, gap analysis and other market intelligence utilizing research and trend data.
  • Help support the marketing services team with supporting content creation and trend information for customer presentations
  • Ensure research spend aligns to category strategies and manage marketing research budget within annual allocations
  • Manage all the relationships, payments and contracts with third-party research vendors.
  • Seek continuous improvement of processes, procedures and cost savings opportunities related to research.
  • Standardize research briefs so that research studies will start by our review and end with FS sign off.
  • Attend FS research events such as Technomic Planning Program and other industry conferences
Qualifications
  • 4-6 years of research, trend or analytical experience
  • 4-6 years of Foodservice experience
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in statistics, mathematics, marketing or finance/economics
  • Master's degree strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to operate as a team player.
  • Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office Programs (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Range $110,000 to $130,000
