We are looking for a dedicated Contractor focused on Markets Automation and Quality Assurance
This role is pivotal in identifying manual processes within our Market Operations teams and transforming them into automated systems
The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing and maintaining tools that bolster our Market Operations' efficiency and effectiveness.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with ITS and other relevant teams to ensure comprehensive solutions that meet company standards.
  • Customize Market Tools to align with the evolving needs of business stakeholders and adhere to FERC regulations.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Markets division and technology departments, ensuring the needs for process improvements and market changes are met through advanced technology solutions.
  • Ensure the inclusion of a cross-functional team, including BA, BAM, QA, and Testers, in automation project solutions.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies that could benefit market automation and design.
  • Design and automate operational processes to enhance Market Operations efficiency.


QUALIFICATIONS
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Software Engineering, or a related field
    Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to provide technical support.
  • Keen learning agility and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience with REST API, Python, SAS, VBA, and asynchronous programming.
  • Proficient in programming languages and frameworks including .NET, C#, PL/SQL, and Windows Presentation Framework (WPF), with a solid grasp of Object-Oriented Design.
  • Understanding of the Change Control process is a plus.
  • Familiarity with GIT Lab, Tableau, Windows Services, and SQL Tuning.
  • Knowledge of Data Science principles, including Machine Learning/AI.
