Verovain Nursing Agency is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) team in Anchorage, Alaska.

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CATH Lab), you will play a pivotal role in providing compassionate and specialized care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures.   • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of safe and effective patient care throughout the cardiac catheterization process.
  • Assist cardiologists and other healthcare providers during cardiac procedures, including but not limited to angioplasty, stent placement, and electrophysiology studies.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, assess cardiac status, and intervene as necessary to maintain optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding cardiac procedures, recovery, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes following regulatory standards and organizational policies.
Candidate requirements Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alaska. Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in cardiac nursing, with specific experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) strongly preferred. Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
