Role Responsibilities
As a skilled and compassionate Cath Lab Nurse, you will be responsible for assisting with a variety of invasive cardiac and vascular procedures. Your duties will include:
- Overseeing all testing and therapeutic interventions conducted in the Cath Lab, including cardiac catheterizations and other related procedures.
- Facilitating effective communication among team members to ensure a collaborative approach to patient care.
- Guiding patients through the entire procedure process, from preparation to recovery.
- Maintaining accurate and timely patient records and documentation.
- Demonstrating flexibility and composure in high-pressure situations.
- Collaborating with team members and providing orientation as needed.
Qualifications
- Current nursing license in good standing.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Two to three years of experience in a Cath Lab setting; Emergency Room or ICU experience is advantageous.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
