About the JobCrossMed Healthcare is seeking an experienced Catheterization Laboratory Technician to join our team for a travel allied job in Anchorage, AK. As a Cath Lab Tech, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting with procedures in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Assist with catheterization procedures and provide patient care
- Operate departmental equipment and maintain a clean and safe environment
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and patients
- Transport patients as needed and monitor their responses to interventions
- Perform other duties as assigned by the healthcare team
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Tech
- Graduate from an accredited school of medical technology
- Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
- Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment, push, bend, and pull
- Interpersonal skills to work with diverse personnel and maintain a positive demeanor
- Technical skills to operate departmental equipment and grasp, push/pull, and move while assisting with procedures
