Job Description

Coordinate logistics billing, process bills from freight companies and work with users of traffic systems to aid the movement of goods in the systems. Assist Supply Chain team with JDE attribute updates, sourcing, data review, vendor review and management and other tasks as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as liaison between operations, freight vendors, and intercompany departments to coordinate efficient and timely movement of goods and processing of the billing.
  • Coordinate with compliance to follow up on documentation or charges on imports, or any new compliance issues.
  • Communicate daily with the freight forwarders regarding rates or questions on invoices. Research rates and validate all invoices for payment. Request quotes and conference with them regarding shipment methods follow up on any new rates.
  • Communicate with accounting regarding any payments or research on accounts payable or receivable.
  • Participate in meetings with the Operations, Sales, Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams to ensure clarity around goals, issues, and opportunities.
  • Work as a lead for OTM related matters within the organization, where needed help in solving questions or gaining IT support.
  • Assist Supply Chain team with JDE attribute maintenance and updates.
  • Assist with vendor review and vendor management as needed.
  • Assist with inventory sourcing and placing internal orders.
  • Perform other work-related tasks as assigned. This role will be fluid and other tasks may be identified.
  • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
Facility Specific Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all transactions comply with the laws and regulations of the U.S. Government and all countries we do business with following guidelines set for by NOV Corporate Compliance Department.
  • Verify all locations are aware of our approved logistics carriers and the carriers are meeting our expectations.
  • Process the billing for the freight transactions, ensuring they are coded properly for proper accounting of expenses incurred.
  • Maintain electronic and/or paper files in accordance to company policy.
  • Work with Quality Control to ensure that all guidelines and ISO requirements are fulfilled to meet ISO Certification.
  • Able to review and code billing in the appropriate system
  • Update Operations of any changes with carriers.
  • Interface with corporate to remain up to date on all aspects relating to logistics and billing.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Experience with software to include Microsoft Office Pro and JDE
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment
