Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and hand trucks, to move materials and products within the distribution center.
  • Receive and process incoming inventory, including logging into our warehouse system and stocking inventory in the proper location.
  • Fill customer orders by retrieving products from the warehouse and preparing them for shipment.
  • Inspect inventory for damage or defects and notify the Warehouse Manager of any issues.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Track inventory levels and maintain accurate records within our warehouse system.
  • Organize and maintain a clean and organized warehouse space, including company equipment and supplies.
  • Report any customer complaints or concerns to the Warehouse Manager in a timely manner.
  • Provide coaching and training to fellow associates on warehouse operational procedures and safety protocols.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective warehouse operations.
  • Evaluate current processes and procedures and recommend improvements to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Contribute ideas on ways to reduce warehouse costs and increase productivity.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of our warehouse data system and perform various tasks within the system.
  • Deliver supplies and equipment to customers in a timely manner, while observing all relevant safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
  • Forklift operating experience and certification a plus.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
