DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
:

• Become familiar with all aspects of the position, including, but not limited to customer support, interdepartmental support, inspection
support and the acceptance requirements of the products that we supply • Manage the QC department. o Inspectors (as required)
• Provide Training for the QC department (as required) • Inspect incoming and outgoing products to validate compliance with customer print, military specification, industry standard and commercial requirements
Perform inspections using Optical Comparator, Ring Gauges, Plug Gauges, Micrometer, Calipers, and other handheld measuring tools
• Complete certifications the maintenance, storage, retrieval, and request for certifications.
• Scan all product documentation to be attached to inspection lot tags • Maintain all inspection equipment, including calibration and record keeping • Review AS9102 FAI's to ensure compliance with applicable customer requirements. • Coordinate with our suppliers and customers to ensure customer satisfaction and product acceptance and that customer requirements will be met
• Ensure all required documentation is maintained electronically.
• Review PPAP's and complete standard Part Submission Warrants (PSW's)
• Support inspection (as required) by providing acceptance criteria guidance based on both industry standards and customer supplied drawings. Hands-on inspection for both incoming and outgoing product to ensure compliance with customer prints, military specifications, industry standards and/or commercial requirements
• Review and disposition of customer returns involving quality escapes. • Respond to customer corrective action requests.
• Contact suppliers for all rejected products and coordinate delivery of replacement materials in a timely manner • Provide backup information to Customer Service department for credit and debit processing
. • Review internal sales orders to ensure adherence to requirements • Recommend Operational Improvements
• Interact with multiple systems to record information accurately and consistently to meet retention requirements
• Keep detailed notes and records of all work performed, organized and accessible
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $28.00 - $30.00 Per Hour
