Job Overview

We are currently seeking a proficient CMM Quality Control Specialist to enhance our operations.

The successful candidate will possess a solid understanding of mechanical principles and experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to guarantee accuracy and excellence in our production processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program, set up, and operate CMM machinery to assess parts and components
  • Conduct quality evaluations utilizing micrometers and various precision measuring tools
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured items, assemblies, and sub-assemblies
  • Execute dimensional assessments using tools such as bore gauges
  • Employ CAD software to develop and adjust programs for CMM
  • Interpret engineering schematics and CAD models for precise measurements
  • Work collaboratively with the production team to resolve any quality concerns
  • Maintain thorough documentation of inspection outcomes
  • Support the creation and execution of quality assurance protocols

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CMM Programmer/Inspector in a manufacturing setting
  • Proficient in operating PC-DMIS software for CMM programming
  • Familiarity with Coordinate Measuring Machines and dimensional inspection methodologies
  • Understanding of GD&T principles
  • Experience in quality control practices using micrometers and other precision measuring instruments

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, standard working hours

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate
