Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and measuring products during the manufacturing process to ensure they meet or exceed customer expectations. You will play a key role in maintaining the highest quality standards by accepting or rejecting finished products based on clearly defined specifications.
Hours
2nd Shift
2:00PM - 10:30PM
Pay
Starting at $22+ (Depending on Experience)
Job Duties
- Understand and follow procedures, work instructions and other basic technical documents
- Perform visual inspection, mechanical tests, and measurements of finished products
- Measure finished products with rulers, calipers, gauges, micrometers or other instruments
- Perform mechanical tests using laboratory test equipment and software
- Follow documentation to accept or reject finished products based on procedures, work instructions and other basic technical documents
- Collect and input inspection data into the computer system (i.e. length, thickness, defects, quantities inspected, etc.)
- Other responsibilities may be assigned
Requirements
- Very strong attention to detail, good visual inspection skills and good manual dexterity
- Capable of reading and understanding basic technical documents in English
- Good listening skills and able to follow directions and instructions in English
- Comfortable using software applications to input data and prepare documents or reports using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Positive attitude and willingness to self-improve
- Teamwork mentality and self-driven
- Capable to complete tasks with limited or no supervision
- Flexible work hours and willing to “go the extra mile” to meet goals
- Must pass vision test
