Cybersecurity Systems Engineer

Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Systems Engineer to join our team in Reston, Virginia or Alexandria, Virginia. Remote work may also be considered. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop an RMF accreditation package, detailing controls, system scanning plan, POA&M maintenance, and a Body of Evidence validating control implementation
  • Plan and detail the security of a complex mission-critical defense network per the DoD RMF
  • Perform security assessments of computing environments to identify vulnerabilities and non-compliance with IA standards and regulations
  • Assess and develop mitigations for system security threats/risks throughout the program life cycle

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of experience
  • DoD 8140 or DoD 8570 baseline certification within 6 months of start of work
  • Experience with NIST Risk Management Framework

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with DoD security Accreditation and Authorization
  • Experience with eMASS
  • Experience with Tenable Nessus
