SUMMARY

The Dallas Cowboys Football Club is seeking a motivated individual to join our Technology team in a Desktop Support role. The candidate should be a technical professional with operations & troubleshooting experience and one who can perform technical analysis, drive for results, take ownership, be self-motivated, and think outside the box.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIITES

  • Provides support to Cowboys staff for technology related issues.
  • Acts as an escalation point for all Tier 1 related technical inquiries.
  • Oversee and perform compliance reviews, troubleshooting and remediation on enterprise workstations, tablets, and mobile devices.
  • Maintains hardware and software on desktops and laptops across their site.
  • Assists with support of VoIP phone system and cellular devices.
  • Plan, design and implement special projects at the direction of IT staff
  • Maintains technical proficiency on all Cowboys end-user computing platforms:
    • Windows and Apple Operating Systems.
    • Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Internet based Applications.
    • Departmental Applications.
  • IT Asset Management
    • Assists with hardware and software deployments as well as procurement and installations.
    • IT Asset Disposition.
  • Manages and updates knowledge base documentation and procedures.
  • Provide Event Support for all Dallas Cowboys related entities.
  • Provide Point of Sale Support for Dallas Cowboys retail locations; also provide Internet Service Provider Maintenance and Support.
  • Maintains Executive Support as well as provide an escalation point for issues.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum of a 4-year Bachelor's degree or educational equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 2 years previous experience in an Information Technology support position
  • Excellent general computer skills in both Microsoft Windows and Apple OS environments
  • Ability to work well with people in a support and training role with strong communication skills
  • Ability to effectively diagnose and repair computer hardware and software problems
  • Understanding of computer networking concepts
  • Ability to explain basic concepts or procedures in a clear, concise, easy-to-understand manner for a large and diverse customer base who utilize a wide variety of in-house developed and off-the-shelf applications
  • Possess high degree of discretion, integrity, professionalism, and accountability for area of responsibility and related results
  • Minimum physical requirements: able to travel to and gain access to various areas of the stadium for prolonged periods of time during games and events; able to lift and transport up to 50 pounds
  • Display professional image and demeanor
  • Ability to travel as needed and willing to provide on-site support for multiple locations
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays and extended hours as needed
