RA Metals manufactures ductwork and fittings for wholesale HVAC suppliers, Heating and Air Contractors, and fabricated roofing products. With locations in Sterling, VA, Alexandria, VA, Raleigh, NC, Starke, FL, and Ridgeland, SC, we offer standard product lines and custom fabrication services to meet various needs.

Hard requirements
  • HVAC systems - 3-5 years of experience
  • Being able to start working without supervision
  • Trimble software experience for taking off is a big plus

Role Description
  • This is a full-time on-site role for an HVAC Estimator located in Sterling, VA.
  • The HVAC Estimator will be responsible for assessing project requirements, estimating costs for HVAC systems.
  • Managing projects, overseeing budgeting for HVAC and piping projects.

Qualifications
  • Plumbing, HVAC, and Piping skills
  • Project Management and Budgeting experience
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Knowledge of HVAC industry standards and regulations
  • Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., HVAC certification, Piping license)

Pay Range: $60-$80k (flex on the top end depending on experience level)

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
