Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with at least an Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
  • 3 years of direct patient care experience in a clinical setting
  • Minimum 1 year of management/supervisory experience
  • 2 or more years' experience in hospice or home care
  • Current nursing license in the state of employment
  • CPR Certification
  • Current automobile insurance and valid driver's license

Qualities:

  • Must be empathetic and flexible
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to advocate for patients
  • Good understanding of hospice principles and regulatory guidelines
