About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Music Therapist to join our team at AccentCare, Inc. as a Hospice Music Therapist. As a Music Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing emotional support and comfort to our patients and their families through music therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement music therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families through music therapy
  • Document patient progress and outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in music therapy

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Music with a concentration in Music Therapy and/or Music Therapy from an American Music Therapy Association (AMTA) approved university (or undergraduate equivalency program approved by AMTA)
  • Board Certified as a Music Therapist (MT-BC) by the Certification Board for Music Therapy (CBMT)
  • State-specific qualification requirements
  • Reliable automobile, valid driver's license, and minimum state required liability auto insurance
