St. Joseph Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider in Tacoma, WA, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Per Diem Nuc Med Tech to join our dynamic team. 

In this role, you will:

  • Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures, including diagnostic and therapeutic studies, under the supervision of a qualified physician.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety and optimal image quality.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technologist program resulting in an associate's degree or bachelor’s degree.

License/Certification:

  • Washington State certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) (N).
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
