Job Summary

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is a key member of our team at MultiCare Health System, responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures, including diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceutical administrations.
  • Administer diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with department policies and procedures.
  • Perform venipuncture and IV placement as needed.
  • Work independently and unsupervised, ensuring the most comprehensive and compassionate imaging care for patients.
  • Perform quality control procedures for all equipment and become familiar with the film filing system.
Requirements
  • BA or BS degree in a science-related field, preferably in healthcare.
  • CMNT (NMTCB), ARRT (N), or equivalent certification, or registry eligibility with exam taken within one year of employment.
  • Health Care Provider level CPR certification.
  • Certified with the State of Washington Department of Health.
