Job Summary

The Client Services Associate will assist the Financial Advisor with identifying and achieving clients' personal financial objectives. This position will develop and refine the skills needed to prepare and implement strategic plans for an array of clients with varying long-term goals. Strategies include asset management, retirement planning, education funding, and employee benefits management.

Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develops and cultivates a client base through prospecting and servicing clients
  • Develops a knowledge base of financial products and services to help clients develop a long-term strategy to preserve and grow their wealth
  • Assists with analyzing investment opportunities and client needs and recommends appropriate strategies
  • Builds client relationships based upon developing strategies to achieve their financial goals
  • Offers knowledgeable and objective financial guidance
  • Markets and presents appropriate investment solutions
  • Maintains a current awareness of the general economic climate and its impact on various types of assets, including securities and fixed income assets as well as the particular assets of the client
  • Explains available services, discusses level of expectations, and negotiates fees with prospective clients
