As our next home insurance specialist, you will show our policyholders the value of being one of our customers by generating insurance quotations and providing coverage advice. You will also have the ability to sell other lines of insurance like auto, boat, motorcycle, renters, and business insurance. In addition, in this role, you will be in charge of giving current policyholders excellent customer service by resolving billing issues, amending policies, and making policy suggestions. The ideal candidate has at least six months of home insurance experience, (especially with Citizens Property Insurance Corporation), excellent communication skills, and a 440 or 220 insurance license. This is a part-time opportunity. Qualifications: • Hold an active 440 (Customer Service Representative) or 220 (Property & Casualty insurance license).Has at least six months of experience writing and servicing home insurance policies in the State of Florida. • Possesses high-stress tolerance and critical thinking skills. • Receptive to coaching and feedback. • Ability to work independently and hold yourself accountable for your performance. • Basic knowledge of insurance policy procedures and schedules is preferred. • Display strong communication skills, active listening skills, and personal skills. • Prior work in a customer-facing position or customer service role is required. • Possesses basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and customer database systems. • Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. • Bilingual with fluency in English and Spanish is a plus. Compensation: $16 - $17 hourly
